SDH and Vatel Singapore students were in for a treat yesterday afternoon! They attended an engaging and comprehensive wine workshop conducted by Daryl Saw, CEO of Stewords Riverboat and a certified Specialist of Wine. Students explored a variety of wine and were taught 5 vital steps of wine appreciation. Students also learned how to develop taste and smell skills, and how to open up their palette.
Understanding and appreciating types of wine are important in the hospitality and tourism industry. SDH Institute organises these tours and events to make sure students’ learning experience is as vibrant and as multifaceted as possible. Everyone, including the lecturers, enjoyed the interactive session immensely!
