Jeffery AngJeffery Ang

Adjunct Lecturer

Mr Jeffery Ang has more than 30 years of flying experience in aviation, both in military and commercial airline operations. He started his flying career in 1987 with the Republic of Singapore Air Force and served a total of 12 years as a full-time military pilot before joining Singapore Airlines (SIA) as a commercial airline pilot. His aviation experience includes a wide spectrum of military operations, commercial airline flying, and as a flight instructor with a Class 1 Medical – Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). He also served as a Chairman in the Executive Council of the Air Line Pilots Association (Singapore).

Besides flying, he remains active in the aviation community as a member of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Industry Mentor Network – Aerospace Electronic Engineering, to share his passion for aviation with aspiring young aviators. Recently, he was accepted as a mentor to students at the National Technological University of Singapore. He is also a counsellor in the Pilots Advisory Group, providing assistance to pilots in distress.
