Dr Rashid (EdD) has been an Educator, working with adult learners in Singapore and Malaysia since 1986 for many Private Education Organisations: Marketing Institute of Singapore, Singapore Institute of Labour Studies, Management Development Institute of Singapore, Institute of Advertising Singapore, Sumbershire School and Thames School of Business.

He held key positions in many management teams, with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the following industries: Hospitality, Theme Park, Quick Service Restaurants, Hotel, Shipping, Advertising and PR, Private Members’ Clubs, Institutes and Colleges.

Dr Rashid is also a competent Toastmaster and has been keynote speaker for many overseas conferences and seminars. He also recently published an academic paper with Dr Thu Thi Trinh in Danang, Vietnam and presented at the International Conference on Research in Management & Technovation (ICRMAT-2022) from 16-17 December 2022, organized by Swinburne Vietnam.
