This study is a descriptive research that aimed to find out the employment extent of the latest technologies in Singapore hotels. Demographic characteristics were taken to determine their association with technologies that hotel staff and managers perceived needed to improve productivity and the quality of customer service.
To achieve these objectives, the researchers collected primary data using a survey questionnaire and compared them with information gathered from literature review pertaining to the level of automation other countries had assimilated. This study revealed that the state of technology adoption in the Singapore hotel industry has yet to reach a seriously comfortable momentum to ensure the industry’s even brighter future.
